Posted November 04, 2018 08:01:56 If you’ve been reading a lot of articles about “wall cleaning” lately, you’ve probably noticed a lot more buzz around it.
You’ve heard it’s a new way of getting rid of old walls and floors, a way of “reclaiming” the place that’s always been there.
But for the uninitiated, what is wall cleaning?
The term refers to the process of removing the top layers of a building’s exterior, the foundation, and the walls themselves, and replacing them with something entirely new.
A lot of the work is done by hand, but the process involves a lot less equipment and involves less time and less labor.
And the result?
Better floors, more energy efficiency, and a less expensive house.
In other words, it sounds like the future is bright for a lot better reasons than you might think.
But before we get into that, here’s a quick primer on what you’re looking at: What is wall scrubbing?
Wall scrubbing involves wiping the surface of a room down with a sponge.
The idea is that by cleaning the entire room with a very low-pressure spray, you’re essentially “scrubbing” away the dirt, dust, and grime that makes the room look like it’s been there forever.
(You may have noticed the word “scraped” here, too.
It’s a word that describes the way people who are cleaning things up tend to scrub them, not scrub the surface.)
The goal of cleaning a room is to remove as much of the old dirt, debris, and mold as possible, then to re-build the floor with the freshest materials possible.
The problem with this is that the floors and walls in a typical house are made of different materials.
While you can scrub the floor or the walls with a low-cost, high-efficiency, and highly water-efficient device, you have to make sure to scrub all the surfaces at the same time.
It can be hard to get the job done in a hurry, since you’re also scrubbing the old floor, and you’re not really going to get any results if you wait a long time before doing anything.
What is a wall scrubber?
A wall scrubner is a machine that can scrub or “scrape” the floor of a house using a sponge and a sprayer.
You can use a “scraper” for this, as in, you pour a little bit of water into a small bowl and spray a small amount of water on a surface, and then you push it over the surface.
If it doesn’t come out cleanly, you can still use the same technique.
But if you do, the results will be different.
The sponge will start to break down the old materials, so the water will actually help remove the old dust and mold that’s there.
The sprayer will help remove some of the dirt and debris, which will make the floor look cleaner and less “sloppy.”
What do the results look like?
You can probably see the difference here.
If you look at the bottom of the picture, you’ll notice the carpet and tile on the left have been “scored” by a sponge, while the carpet on the right has been “score scrubbed.”
The carpet on one side has a little more dust and grudge than the other.
The floor is looking cleaner and better.
In fact, the carpet is so clean that it looks like it has never been scrubbed.
If your carpet is not scored and you want to keep it looking the same, you may want to use a cleaner sponge.
So the question is, are wall scrubbers worth it?
The short answer is: probably not.
But there are some things that a scrubber can do that a regular carpet can’t.
If the carpet isn’t scrubbed and you decide to clean it up, you might as well get something else.
If a scrub is a good option, the most important thing to remember is that you can’t get the same results with a scrub as you can with a regular flooring.
And you may end up wasting a lot.
In the end, if you don’t feel confident using a scrub, you probably shouldn’t use it.
There are a few other reasons to avoid a wall scraper, though.
First, if your house has a lot (or any) wood or concrete, you won’t be able to use the sprayer to remove the grime.
If that’s a problem for you, consider getting a home improvement contractor to do the job for you.
And secondly, a scrub can leave a mess on the floor that could be a real problem in the long run.
It could make your home look like the home it’s supposed to be.
So be aware of these issues before deciding to give up your “tricks.”
